In my work, I explore the intricate relationship between nature, waste, and transformation. As an artist at Sea Woven, I create upcycled macramé pieces that reflect the dark, relentless energy of the ocean—a force that embodies both life and death. Using a foundation of reclaimed wood, I knot together polypropylene turquoise rope salvaged from the landfill, black cotton rope, and the bone of a seal. Each material carries its own story, merging the remnants of human impact with the beauty of the natural world.

The ocean, in its raw power, serves as my muse, reminding us of the cycles that govern existence. My art seeks to capture this duality: the beauty and brutality of nature, the tension between creation and destruction.
